One day before the last Tech Search Party, two people walked up to me and asked whether they needed a phone with Internet access in order to compete.  Externally, I politely suggested that they do, indeed, get a smart phone as they were unlikely to win without Web access.

Internally, I snickered that at least we had already collected their registration fee.  They would have, I assumed, no chance whatsoever in the next day’s Tech Search Party.

I will never doubt those women again.  Their team, the Indomitable Immersion Mamas wound up coming in first place in the last TSP.

Well they are back to defend their title, amigos.  So if you are in it to win it, you’ve got some serious competition.
